Wow! How time flies! It's hard to believe that our reunion has come and gone, and is now nearly 2 months behind us.
What a fantastic weekend we all had! Nearly 150 different people participated in one or more of the events between Friday night and Sunday. Thanks so much for all the positive comments you have sent our way.
It was truly amazing to see how easily old friendships were renewed and new relationships were established. Please don't let the momentum stop. We will have more reunions in the future (in fact, rumor has it that the Class of 1972 will have their gala in 2012 with other classes invited). But don't wait for two years to talk, communicate with and see one another again.
for the next five years. Bookmark this site as one of your favorites, and go to it every now and then for the latest news. We encourage you to upload your current picture and blind e-mail contact information in the classmates section. You can easily do this in just a couple of minutes by clicking the "edit profile" button next to your graduation picture in the Classmates section. Then, to contact friends, simply click the "Send this person a message" button that appears in their profile.
Many of you will come in contact with friends who were not able to attend the reunion. Please encourage them to visit our website and join in the fun!
With the Holidays rapidly approaching, we want to pause a minute to wish all of you and your families the very best! Set aside some time to truly enjoy the people and relationships that give meaning and purpose to your life. And above all, remember to always, always...
Cherish the Day,
Frank Laise & Robyn Gray

The Garrison is a 300 acre property in the Hudson Valley with an 18 hole golf course and incredible views of West Point and the Lower Hudson Valley. Our Reunion was held in The River Room which comfortably accommodated the 105 people attending. The evening began at 5:00 PM with an hour and a half no-host cocktail reception featuring butlered auderves. The cocktail party was followed by a marvelous buffet dinner at 6:30 PM. And the evenings entertainment was provided by DJ Bri Swatek of Spinning With Style.

The action shifted to Mahopac on Saturday afternoon kicking off with lunch (individual tabs) and hanging out at J.P. Cunningham's on Lake Mahopac from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
|
Unfortunately, due to high winds on the lake, the Pontoon Boat rides that were to have been provided by Mahopac Marina for a tour of fabulous Lake Mahopac had to be cancelled.
But this event went over so well at the 40th Reunion in 2008 for the classes of 66-69 that you can count on it being included next time around...

Because of insurance and other issues,we were unable to have our 60's-70's throwback dance at MHS. But the good folks at The American Legion Hall on Buckshollow Road made their facility available to us at a reasonable price. While we didn't get the numbers we'd hoped for, everyone attending had a great time. Take a look at the pictures in the Photo Albums section to see what we mean.
Our featured band was Boneyard Buddies. You can click their name to be transported to a site with more information. Making the night truly memorable were performances by our own Paul Spallina (70) and Patsy Hamel (71). And let's not forget the quartet of Patsy Hamel, Claire Ries Mindock, Corinne Gonyea Alpers and Maria Overton Hughes assisting Boneyard Buddies with some of their sets.

Our weekend concluded on Sunday with an amazing brunch at Cathryn's Tuscan Grill in Cold Spring. The weather was fantastic, though a bit windy.
But that didn't stop many of us from hanging out together for an hour or so afterwards down at the Hudson River overlooking West Point. Again, check out the pictures in the Photo Album section.
